Hotel Kansas City

This Gothic Revival-style hotel in the heart of downtown Kansas City offers a chance to experience the ambiance of the Roaring Twenties during which ACHS was founded. With many walk-able eateries and experiences nearby, you'll enjoy being in the heart of downtown. HKC is a beautiful boutique hotel that is part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, and I'm sure we'll see you in its basement speak-easy at some point during the conference!

Reservations at Hotel Kansas City at the conference rate ended on Jan. 10, but there are other hotels nearby that have rates comparable to the conference rate.

Airport Transfer: Downtown KC is about 30 mins. from the airport, so if you'd like to make a reservation for a shuttle, here's one such company: 5Guys Transportation, which offers private shuttles for 1-5 people for $63 inclusive. Read the ACHS group information at the link provided. We plan to eventually create a shared spreadsheet where you can find others who will arrive near your arrival time so that you can share that $63 ride to cut expenses. Even with just two people sharing a shuttle, you'd save money over a solo taxi or regular ride-share that runs $40-50.

Make the most of your time in Kansas City! Between major additions to popular museums, athletic events slated to draw sold-out crowds and an extended KC Streetcar line, the Heart of America is set to delight first-time visitors and return guests alike in 2025. Check out 25 reasons to visit Kansas City thanks to Visit KC.

The Centennial Anniversary Luncheon will take place Sat., Feb. 1, 1-3 p.m. This luncheon is included with all regular conference registrations.
