New Petitions

Before petitioning to become an ACHS Member Society, please consider the Honor Society Standards of Excellence, a guideline for certifying quality of member societies and review the ACHS Eligibility Requirements.

Does your Honor Society fulfill the requirements?

The petitioning society shall:

• Compare its constitution with the ACHS standards and eligibility criteria.

• Discuss above comparison with the Executive Director and/or Board President, and make changes necessary to meet all of the standards and criteria.

• Optional, but advisable: Participate as an observer at an ACHS Annual Council Meeting that typically takes place in early spring during our annual conference.

• File petition (and accompanying materials) with the ACHS Executive Director.
